Intensive Outpatient Therapy (IOP)
At Clear Steps, our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for teens ages 12–18 who need extra help with substance use.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) — In-Person, Daily Care for Teens Struggling with Substance Use
Our intensive, in-person Partial Hospitalization Program provides focused daily care for teenagers facing substance use challenges. Designed for youth who need structured support beyond outpatient services but do not require 24/7 inpatient hospitalization, this program combines evidence-based therapy, medical oversight, and family involvement to accelerate recovery and build lasting skills.
What we offer
Daily, clinician-led programming that includes individual therapy, group therapy, and skill-building workshops tailored for adolescents.
Substance use-specific interventions: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), relapse prevention, and trauma-informed care.
Medical and psychiatric monitoring with medication management when needed, coordinated by licensed providers.
Family programming and caregiver support to repair relationships, improve communication, and create a safe recovery environment at home.
Academic support and school coordination to minimize disruption to education and ease the transition back to school.
Peer support and healthy peer connection activities to rebuild social strengths and sober networks.
